1997 NATIONAL RESOURCES INVENTORY- WYOMING

 Land Uses in 1997 of Areas that were Cropland in 1982

     A significant acreage of land in Wyoming was converted from cropland to other uses during the period of 1982 to 1997.
Of particular significance to the agricultural economy of Wyoming was the conversion of 39,000 acres of cropland to non-agricultural uses and the placing of 240,600 acres of cropland into the Conservation Reserve Program.
